Building forecast maps of water quaůity for main rivers and canals in Tien Giang province, Vietnam

This study aims to enhance the mapping of forecast for water quality assessment in Mekong Delta provinces. The data from 32 sites from main rivers and canals in an area of around 2,482 km2 in Tien Giang Province, Vietnam, were used for calculation and mapping. The ArcGIS 9.3 software, Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) interpolation method, hydrologic data, and water quality parameters in March (2010-2014) were applied to build the maps showing 2020 water quality predictions for main rivers and canals in Tien Giang Province. The estimation was based on the Water Quality Index (WQI) with 6 parameters such as pH, total suspended solid (TSS), dissolved oxygen (DO), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total nitrogen (T_N), and coliform. The results showed that water quality in the studied area in dry season will not be improved by the year 2020. The finding could be a scientific reference for the selection of effective approaches to improve water quality in main rivers and canals in Tien Giang Province

On asymptotic properties of solutions to σ\sigma-evolution equations with general double damping

In this paper, we would like to consider the Cauchy problem for semi-linear $\sigma$-evolution equations with double structural damping for any $\sigma\ge 1$. The main purpose of the present work is to not only study the asymptotic profiles of solutions to the corresponding linear equations but also describe large-time behaviors of globally obtained solutions to the semi-linear equations. We want to emphasize that the new contribution is to find out the sharp interplay of ``parabolic like models" corresponding to $\sigma_1 \in [0,\sigma/2)$ and ``$\sigma$-evolution like models" corresponding to $\sigma_2 \in (\sigma/2,\sigma]$, which together appear in an equation. ROBUST DYNAMIC ID-BASED REMOTE MUTUAL AUTHENTICATION SCHEME

Dynamic ID based authentication scheme is more and more important in insecure wireless environment and system. Two of kinds of attack that authentication schemes must resist are stealing identity and reflection attack which is a potential way of attacking a challenge- response authentication system using the same protocol in both direc­tions. It must be guaranteed to prevent attackers from reusing informa­tion from authentication phase and the scheme of Yoon and Yoo satisfies those requirements. However, their scheme can not resist insider and impersonation attack by using lost or stolen smart card. In this paper, we demonstrate that Yoon and Yoo’s scheme is still vulnerable to those attacks. Then, we present an improvement to their scheme in order to isolate such problems

Website Quality and Intention to Use Real Estate Website in Housing Market

The purpose of this study is to operationalize the impact of some factors of real estate website quality on behavioral intention to use in searching information about housing market. Research model is the integration of extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) of Davis and Information Success System of DeLone and McLean. The data of 847 real estate website users from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City was analyzed by Structural Equation Model (SEM) and multiple group analysis. The findings indicate that most of all hypotheses received support from data, specifically, Perceived Enjoyment has the most positive impact on Attitude and Behavioral Intention of real estate website users. Moreover, there is difference in the degree of impact of website quality between the perception of users in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. MINING TOP-K FREQUENT SEQUENTIAL PATTERN IN ITEM INTERVAL EXTENDED SEQUENCE DATABASE

Abstract. Frequent sequential pattern mining in item interval extended sequence database (iSDB) has been one of interesting task in recent years. Unlike classic frequent sequential pattern mining, the pattern mining in iSDB also consider the item interval between successive items; thus, it may extract more meaningful sequential patterns in real life. Most previous frequent sequential pattern mining in iSDB algorithms needs a minimum support threshold (minsup) to perform the mining. However, it’s not easy for users to provide an appropriate threshold in practice. The too high minsup value will lead to missing valuable patterns, while the too low minsup value may generate too many useless patterns. To address this problem, we propose an algorithm: TopKWFP – Top-k weighted frequent sequential pattern mining in item interval extended sequence database. Some Limitations of ASEAN Organization in 55 Years of Operation

Association of Southeast Asian Nations (English : Association of South East Asian Nations, abbreviated as ASEAN) is a political , economic , cultural and social organization of countries in the Southeast region. Ah . ASEAN has a land area of 4.46 million km², accounting for 3% of the total land area of the Earth , and has a population of about 600 million people, accounting for 8.8% of the world's population . The waters of ASEAN are three times as large as land. Over 55 years of establishment and development, this is considered the most successful regional organization on earth. However, when it comes to ASEAN, people often talk about achievements, in the framework of this article, we would like to give some opinions on its limitations, as a basis for recommendations for leaders of the organization in this study.
